The Algae Biofuels exhibit is meant to teach students about the process of cultivating algae, which is then used to create algae biofuels. This consists of a gear and motor system, in which the gear is in a petri dish that is filled with water and algae (using craft moss for the sake of the exhibit). There will be a push button on the side and when pushed, the gear will begin spinning, and start “tilling” the algae.
