Project Description & Impact:

This project aims to implement composting programs at two university-owned apartment areas (FC & SUV) at Iowa State University to increase student participation in waste diversion. As of May, 2024, both FC & SUV compost programs have been successfully implemented and are in observation and improvement phases. Moving forward, a small-scale rotating composter will be installed at the SUV community gardens.
